This will be the second time I have made this recipe. It was a big hit last time. The cherries are a nice addition. It makes a huge serving so last time we turned the leftovers into a salad the next day.

Instead of cooking the chicken on the stove top, I chose to marinate in a sauce made of soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and ginger and then bake.
